Homemade "Cranky Bugs" Uploaded on YouTube

Cranky Bugs has always been one of my favorite episodes, and I wanted to capture my own clips in  my layout room years ago. Now I compiled everything together so you can see it for yourself!

Also posted here are pictures I took when filming, the famous closing shot of Cranky happily loading Thomas and Percy's trains, as they look on much appreciated to see him change his attitude for a while!

There's Something in the Air!

I have been going through my footage from long ago, and I've put together a full episode! It's "Something in the Air," and more will be coming soon, so stay tuned!

Below are photographs I took of the sets while filming. First is the signal box seen in an illustration from the original "Old Iron" Railway Series book. There is an electric light installed, in the evening moonlight shining from a large office lamp.

At the Docks as Henry apologizes to Thomas. In these sequences I animated the eyes using an old Paint Shop Pro software called Animation Shop.

Enjoy!

Homemade "Thomas and Friends" Sample Video Clip

Thank you Thomas fans for making this new blog an instant hit!

Now I want to surprise you with an upload consisting of old videos I did long ago when I was first starting out.

The quality of some of the clips are better than others, filmed with my old camera size of 320 x 240 and then later 640 x 480, but you can see how my hobby evolved.

Featured are my early paper models of the Skarloey railway, which run on lego track, including Thomas, and Bachmann HO scale models. All ran on a 4' x 8' table with a countryside of quilts, and paper yards. Trees and bushes are Woodland Scenic trees with craft lichen and moss, just as how I described it in earlier blogs.

Grab some popcorn and enjoy the video! Feel free to like it, share it, and comment on it, both on YouTube and on my blog.

1st Video Test Sequence

My first uploaded video on YouTube!

A few years ago, I took these and many more videos of my layout to film my favorite classic episodes of Thomas. I have made the buildings and sets myself, and the room had a 4" x 8" table to enjoy many years of a fond hobby. Click full-screen to see it clearly

I hope you enjoy this sample of my footage, and both like and comment this video on YouTube and the posts here on blogger. In the future, I will post more for you to see.
