It was a goal to focus on making these two engines as the first of a large overhaul of narrow gauge locos for the railway, continuing a long year project to get them up and running with new working equipment for smoother operation to film. It's been a joy making these models, as the Sodor's narrow gauge engines have always been a favorite subject to model.
Color grading adds character to locomotives that are the symbols of their times, and quite fun to do!
